The short version

• We collect what Tripplot needs to work: your account, the places and trips you save, and the links you ask it to read.
• We do not sell your data, and Tripplot shows no ads.
• Links you submit are processed by AI (Google Gemini) to find the places in them.
• Tripplot does not collect your location.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app.

1. Who we are

Tripplot is a travel app that turns social media posts and web pages into saved places, maps and day-by-day trip plans. It is operated by APPAI LABS (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information Tripplot collects when you use the Android app and related services, and what we do with it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google. If you sign in with an email and password, we receive your email address; your password is handled by Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.
• Links you submit. The URLs of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube posts, map links and web pages you share with Tripplot or paste into it.
• Your saved content. Places you save, the notes you write on them, whether you have marked them as a favourite or visited, your collections, and your trips — including the destination, trip length and interests you choose.
• Messages to us. Anything you send when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

• An account identifier. Before you sign in, Tripplot creates an anonymous account so your saved places are kept. This identifier is linked to your account if you sign in later.
• Usage and device information. Through Google Analytics for Firebase we collect app-usage events (for example, which screens are opened and whether an import succeeded), an app-instance identifier, device model, operating-system version, app version, and approximate country derived from your IP address.
• App integrity checks. Firebase App Check uses Google Play Integrity to confirm requests come from a genuine copy of Tripplot. This helps prevent abuse of our servers.
